The 4-4-2 steam locomotive has a precision can motor, headlight, metal wheels and axles, couplers, and a smokestack that puffs. Other cars include coal tender with a remotely activated steam whistle, a gondola with four tanks, a boxcar with opening doors, and a red caboose. Driven by a powerful 80 watt transformer, the train runs forward or reverse; the O-gauge track has realistically detailed ties and a raised ballast for extra stability.
