The comforter illuminates at the touch of a button, and the light and sound show can be stopped and restarted at any time during play. In story mode, the comforter plays a two minute light show without sound, and in sleep mode plays one minute of gently fading lights that wink out at the end of the time lapse. The boys' comforter plays sounds including truck engines, sirens, walkie-talkies, rocket engines, and the beep of a satellite. The girls' comforter plays cars purring, gentle breezes, music box melodies, babbling brooks, and chirping birds. The comforter is hypoallergenic polyester/cotton and may be spot cleaned.
