The 174-Sound Electronic Drumset.

This electronic drum kit reproduces up to 174 individual percussion sounds, including bass drums, snares, toms, brush strokes, rim shots, and five different cymbals. Alternate percussion sounds include cowbells, tambourines, congas, woodblocks, and more. The kit's seven durable rubber pads and two foot pedals can be assigned to any of the sounds, and the bass drum pedal provides dynamic volume control; the harder you press with your foot, the louder the kick sound. The hi-hat pad is located to the right of the snare pad, and allows traditional crossover players--right hand over the left hand--to practice without having to change their technique, and also facilitates transition to an acoustic drumset for beginning players. The kit has a hand percussion mode that allows the pads to be played with the fingers and palms, providing a more realistic feel while drumming. Over 100 built-in rhythms are included to accompany while you play, and the set comes with 50 pre-programmed drum kits, selectable using a simple control panel and large LED. Two stereo speakers provide excellent sound quality while you play. A MIDI connection allows you to connect the kit to a computer or other MIDI device for recording and editing music on a computer (appropriate software required). Includes AC adapter (it can also operate using six C batteries), one pair of drumsticks, headphones for private practice, stand, and throne. 16" H x 14" W x 22" L. (21 1/4 lbs.)
