This is the GPS receiver that provides real-time traffic and weather information using Traffic Message Channel technology. A pop-up message appears on the screen indicating traffic congestion or poor weather conditions, and it provides you with an alternate route to your destination. It provides audible direction prompts and instantly notifies you if you take a wrong turn. It has 2GB of flash memory that contains extensive driving maps for the United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico) and Canadas provinces (including the Yukon Territory), with thousands of restaurants, gas stations, hotels, and more. It has an SD card slot for MP3 storage, its built-in FM transmitter allows you to play music through your car's radio as well
as hear the direction prompts while driving. Maps appear in top-down 2D or three-quarter 3D mode. The bright and wide 4 1/4" LCD touchscreen provides 480 x 272 resolution, and automatically adjusts its brightness based on current lighting conditions. The unit can be powered by a car cigarette lighter, or for portability, via its built-in rechargeable battery that provides five hours of operation.
