The stainless steel, insulated thermal carafe retains the coffee's peak temperature for hours after brewing, keeping coffee hot without cooking the liquid as is common with many hot-plate coffee makers. Ten cups of coffee can be brewed in six minutes, and a "stop and serve" feature allows the carafe to be removed during brewing without dripping. An LCD and a six-button control panel allows you to easily program the unit up to 24 hours in advance, commencing bean grinding and brewing at the exact time you prefer.
