This immersion blender was rated best by the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute after rigorous testing of blending ability, ease of use, comfort, and features. During tests, its powerful 550-watt motor and stainless steel blades chopped raw almonds and cashews into a fine paste and thoroughly blended cookies, ice cream, and milk into a creamy, smooth milkshake, while lesser models with inferior blade designs left some ingredients unblended.
