This is the deep fryer with a glass cooking vessel that allows you to monitor food submersed in the oil without lifting the basket, reducing frying times and eliminating the inferior crispiness caused by repeatedly removing food from the oil as it cooks. The glass bowl is made in Arques, France, using 1/4-inch thick, heat-resistant borosilicate glassthe same glass used in laboratory beakers. The clear bowl helps you determine with a glance when the oil needs to be changed, and its two-quart oil capacity accommodates two 6-oz. fish filets or a 1/2-lb of French fries. The immersed heating element ensures a consistent oil temperature (320° F to 375° F) and allows the lipid to quickly regain the preset frying temperature when food is submersed, ensuring optimal results when frying multiple batches. The lid prevents oil splatters, an overheating sensor automatically cuts the power when a threshold temperature is reached, and the cord attaches to the deep fryer magnetically, allowing it to safely detach in case of accidental pulling.
