Developed with the input of sailors from the prestigious Volvo Ocean Race, this is the digital yachtsmans watch with a sailing timer, barometer, and compass, allowing you to monitor critical sailing variables with a glance. Ideal for novice or experienced sailboat tacticians, the watch can be synchronized with the regatta's official time at the touch of a button. The digital compass has cardinal or 1/2 cardinal point abbreviations, a North-South arrow, and a declination correction feature that automatically corrects the dissonance between magnetic North and True North, providing accurate locations. You can input your desired sailing course and the digital compass displays the locked bearing, the actual bearing, and the difference between t he two readings, allowing you to determine with a glance whether or not you are on course. An integrated barometer measures atmospheric pressure and automatically tracks and stores readings for up to four days, and the barometric trend indicator on the face of the LCD provides a constant reference for analyzing upcoming weather conditions. The rotating bezel has a ratchet at every five degrees and, combined with the compass, it allows you to define the start line bias and determine the wind direction prior to the start of a race. With an easy-to-read, bright electroluminescent backlit LCD protected by a durable mineral crystal, a calendar preprogrammed until 2089, three daily alarms, stop watch, and a 120 minute sailing timer.
