About the size of a coffee maker, this filtered water cooler dispenses hot, cold, or room temperature water, providing clean, clear water without the clutter of plastic bottles or the monthly cost of a service provider. Simply pour up to two gallons of tap water into the top of the unit and, at the touch of a button, it provides up to 17-oz. of 194° F water--the ideal temperature for steeping tea--or 27-oz. of 44° F water. The NSF International certified filter reduces unpleasant tastes and odors attributed to chlorine and decreases the levels of copper, mercury, and other contaminants, improving the taste and smell of hard or mineral rich tap water. The water cooler has two separate reservoirs in the base--one with a heating element and one with a cooling element--that ensure hot or cold water is ready for consumption. An LCD informs you when to replace the filter, LEDs signal when the hot and cold water is ready to be dispensed, and the hot water button can be locked to discourage curious fingers.
