Made with a spruce top with mahogany back, sides, and neck, the guitar has a two-way truss rod to provide control over string action, allowing you to lower the strings closer to the frets for easier chording, or to raise the strings as your skills and technique improve. At 25 1/2 scale, the guitar's neck length (and fret length) is the same size as standard electric guitars, making a transition easy once you've learned chords, scales, and songs. Its cutaway body allows you to access the higher frets easily, and it uses light-gauge acoustic strings that are held securely by chrome machine heads and an acoustic bridge with compensated saddle.
