This is the set of bagpipes handmade by Scots concern R.G. Hardie & Co., whose bagpipe-making legacy reaches back to 1868. The company’s president, Alastair Dunn, has led the Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band to 11 World Championships playing Hardie pipes, which are renowned for superior materials, craftsmanship, and a sound quality that make them instant heirlooms. This set is made from fully combed and beaded African blackwood with engraved bearded nickel ferrules, ring caps, slides, and mouthpiece—all secured with hemp retainers. The set includes a plastic pipe canter, Canmore synthetic pipe bag, Ezeedrone reeds, and a 10" blowpipe. Comes with a black cord cover with black braid. (8 3/4 lbs.)
