Made by La Rustichella in Norcia, Italy, a region renowned for growing the rare delicacy known locally as tartufo, this is the genuine Italian truffle paté and olive oil. Available only two months per year, the white truffle grows underground in the Umbrian wilderness and they can only be located by Lagotto Romagnolo, the renowned truffle-hunting canines. After they are foraged, the truffles are immediately blended with champignon mushrooms, sunflower oil, salt, and pepper to create a rich, complex paté ideal for spreading on focaccia. The included truffle olive oil is a blend of Italian first cold-press olives and truffle oil, creating a fragrant, luscious oil for drizzling on grilled meats, salads, or bread. Includes 8.5 oz. of truffle oil and 10 oz. of paté.
