This is the market umbrella whose pole flexes in high winds to resist damage and prevent tip-overs. A 304 stainless steel spring integrated in the top of the umbrella pole allows the pole and canopy to flex gently with the wind, reducing pressure on the pole and canopy. The pole maintains a traditional upright position in winds up to 8 mph and is capable of resisting damage in high winds. Deep pockets inside the canopy provide optimal support for the ribs and the 100% aluminum pole has a powder-coated finish that resists damage from the sun and rain. Made from 100% woven acrylic, the canopy fade- and microbial-resistant and blocks 98% of the sun's harmful UV rays for a UPF of 50+- the highest possible rating.
