Created for open wheel racecar champion Tony Kanaan, this is the technical watch with auto racing inspired functions and detailing. Made in Switzerland, the precision timepiece has an accurate quartz movement, and a chronograph and tachymeter for measuring elapsed time and pace, with results displayed on three subdials that look like car gauges. An odometer at the 6 o'clock position displays the date. This watch transports wearers to the track with a checkered flag motif around the face, accents in Kanaan's trademark yellow and green (a homage to his native Brazil), and an asymmetrical shape that evokes a racecar's aerodynamic design. The case is made from black PVD-treated 316L stainless steel, with carbon fiber sides and a fixed ceramic bezel. The face is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, while the crown is anchored with a double-security gasket that ensures water resistance.
