His right hand holds the ultimate Christmas gift of a partridge in a pear tree, while all 12 days of presents are illustrated on the sides of the blocks stacked on the base. Celebrants can rotate the blocks to admire hand painted representations of the 12 drummers drumming, six geese a-laying, and the second day's gift of a pair of turtle doves. Santa also bears his traditional red sack that holds a wrapped gift and a 12 Days of Christmas book, signed by Frau Karla Steinbach, sixth-generation head of Steinbach of Germany.
