This is the speaker dock inspired by early 20th-century radial aircraft engines. It is crafted in Modena, Italy, from 6082 aluminum alloy and detailed with chrome and 24k gold plated speaker enclosures. Driven by neodymium magnets for clear highs and distinct mids, two 1"-diam. silk-dome, 25-watt tweeters and four 6 1/2"-diam. PPM-cone, 25-watt mid-range speakers surround a conical cowling housing a rear-facing 7 3/4"-diam. 270-watt active subwoofer that provides robust acoustic depth. Each forward-facing speaker is angled just outside the structure’s horizontal axis for uniform sound diffusion and a solid, three-dimensional sound image. Built-in amplifier has two external speaker connections for an included external subwoofer (not pictured). Works with any smartphone via WiFi (AirPlay) using a 1/8" cable.
