This is the tweed jacket preferred by English country gentlemen for the superior protection it provides from the elements while sporting, idling, or working. Selected for its expertly tailored blend of wool and acrylic (50/50), the exterior provides the classic tweed hand while protecting the wearer from the elements. It uses a breathable, waterproof membrane sandwiched between the exterior and the quilted polyester interior lining. The exterior is treated with Teflon and all seams are taped and heat-sealed for optimal waterproofing. The front is closed with a two-way brass zipper and five buttons with a storm cuff that provides extra protection from the elements. It has two vertical handwarmer pockets and two flap pockets that secure with snaps; an additional pocket is stitched into the left interior. The supple moleskin collar provides comfort. Sage.
