This is the animatronic plush version of Elmo, the famous Sesame Street character, who plays his own instruments and sings. His musical equipment includes a microphone, tambourine, and a pair of bongo drums; he recognizes each when held near, enthusiastically announcing phrases such as "you have a microphone!" Placing the microphone in his right hand and the tambourine in his left (or the pair of bongo drums separately at his feet) invokes a pleasant "thank you". He knows six different songs, including "What Elmo Likes About You," "Sing Out," and "Elmo's World" each performed while he opens his mouth and sways side-to-side.
