These are the day gloves preferred by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for all her public appearances. They are made in England by Cornelia James Ltd., glove maker by appointment to Her Majesty the Queen, and a royal warrant holder since 1979. The Queen first donned the company's gloves on her wedding day in 1947 and has worn them ever since including during her recent Jubilee celebration. Each pair of 100% cotton gloves is hand-sewn by expert craftsmen using traditional Singer sewing machines, ensuring the durability expected by one who shakes thousands of hands a year. To ensure a proper fit in our gloves, we encourage you to measure your hand to determine your glove size.
- Hold your hand flat, palm side down.
- Wrap a measuring tape tightly around your hand, making sure to measure the widest part of your knuckle area, all the way around your palm and back.
- Make a fist with the measuring tape in-hand, making sure it is still over the top of your knuckles.
- The resulting measurement in inches is your hand size. If in-between sizes, order the next size up.
