Unlike typical grills that only reach 550° F, this is the outdoor broiler that reaches 1,400° F to cook meat with a restaurant-worthy sear. The infrared heating elements generate 21,000 BTUs and honeycomb-shaped ceramic plates on the interior create high radiant heat, producing a flavor-enhancing, crisp brown char on grilled food. The heating elements are mounted to the broiler’s ceiling, eliminating flare-ups from dripping fat and producing even, consistent heat. The unit has three levels of heat and the cooking grate adjusts to three heights, providing cooks with optimal control of exterior browning and levels of doneness. The broiler is fueled by widely available propane tanks (not included) and sets up on an outdoor table or stand (available below). The 13" x 11" cooking grate holds up to six NY strip steaks and slides out of the broiler so cooks can easily flip food. Igniter switch powered by the included lithium-ion battery.
