This is the effortless 50’ flood barrier that stores compactly, yet absorbs, contains and diverts flood water in a matter of minutes. The barriers are ready to be deployed without the time-consuming and back-breaking labor of filling sacks with sand. Each of the five 10’-long reusable barriers contains an eco-friendly super-absorbent polymer that activates with water to create a gel. Individual barriers absorb up to eight gallons of water, swell to 3 1/2” high within 10 minutes, and can be stacked to make a vertical dam. The barriers are ideal for doorways, windows, and garages to protect against plumbing problems, severe storms, fast-melting snow, and other overflowing waters indoors or outdoors.
