This is the insulated jacket with a parka hood worn by bush pilots who fly in the treacherous, frigid airspace in Canada's north. The jacket's hypo-allergenic 625-weight white duck down, coyote fur-trimmed hood, and bomber-length cut provide superb warmth, wind protection, and freedom of movement essential for performing aircraft maintenance on a desolate Arctic runway. The outer shell is constructed of 85% polyester/15% cotton treated with a durable waterproof finish that prevents water and snow from permeating the fabric. It has four fleece-lined front pockets with Velcro and zipper closures, a utility pocket on the left sleeve, and a zippered chest pocket inside the shell. A storm flap over the two-way zipper secures with hidden buttons to prevent drafts. With elasticized ribbed knit storm cuffs and waistband that provide a comfortable fit and seal out winter's chill. Black. Imported. Size XL (46). (3 1/4 lbs.)
