Winner of the IDEA silver award by the Industrial Designers Society of America and Business Week, this is the sled with an ergonomically designed aluminum frame and steering system that provides precision handling in all snow conditions. The strong lightweight frame supports a mesh suspension seat that uses the same load-bearing fabric found in modern high-quality office chairs, resulting in less weight and a more comfortable ride whether sitting or lying prone. The hand-held steering system uses stainless steel leaf spring shock absorbers and provides a tighter turning radius than lesser sleds. Made of high density polyethylene, known for its high molecular weight, the front concave skis possess the grip and glide of a well-tuned snowboard, negotiate hairpin turns, and can be interchanged to balance wear. The rear runners may be replaced with wider width skis that clip onto the frame for powder snow conditions (sold below).
