These are the authentic gingersnap cookies that have been named Best Gingersnap in Sweden for over two decades. Made by the oldest gingerbread bakery in Sweden from a traditional recipe perfected in the 1950s, each wafer-thin cookie "snaps" when broken in half or bitten and features a characteristic spicy ginger flavor. Perfectly paired with a hot beverage on a cold winter’s afternoon; ideal for pie crusts or layers in trifle desserts. From a small family-owned bakery in the north of Sweden, where baked goods were originally delivered to neighboring farms in a small bread wagon. Imported. Contains 1 3/4 lbs. of gingersnaps.
