This is the solar motion activated light that is easier to use and install than similar models. In tests conducted by the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute, this light's motion sensitivity and light duration settings were easily adjusted thanks to its unique design that enables the light to be removed from the mounting bracket. During testing, it also produced 37 lux (a measure of light intensity) and detected movement from 26' away at a 45° angle and from 35' away at a 90° angle. It has a 15 1/2' cable for the solar panel, allowing the panel to be placed in a sunny area even if the light is in the shade. Rust and water resistant. Recharges in moderate to full sunlight.
