Product Story

Only available from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the limited-edition folding pocketknife with a genuine Civil War era Indian penny and a personalized monogram. Designed by James Longacre, Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint, the circulated one cent coin embedded in the knife’s solid rosewood wood handle dates from 1861-1865, a historic and rare artifact more than 150 years old. The nearly 3" stainless-steel blade bears the classically styled monogram, with the prominent family name initial flanked by smaller first and middle name initials. The handsome knife unfolds from its handle to 61/2" long. Comes with a certificate of authenticity. Supply initials in this order: first, last, and middle. 3 1/4" L x 1 1/4" W x 1/2" D. (5 oz.)
