Crafted in Scotland only for Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the 100% lambswool stole that bears the classic royal Stewart tartan print. Made by Hogarth, crafters of fine wool accessories since 1935, the fibers used in this stole are shorn from yearling lambs selected for the softness of their coats, then woven in nearby Yorkshire. The raw woven fabric travels north into the Scottish Borders region where it is cut, washed, and finished in Galashiels where goods were traditionally washed by the Gala Water, resulting in a comfortably soft stole that equally compliments a stroll on Hadrian’s Wall or in Central Park on a brisk fall afternoon. 86 1/2" L x 29 1/2" W including decorative fringe.
