This cordless steam iron enables optimal freedom of movement for removing wrinkles from hard-to-reach collars, seams, and sleeves, and won't get caught on ironing boards or tangle like corded models. Despite its cordless design, the iron is as powerful as traditional models. The 1,500-watt iron heats up to 410° F and produces powerful bursts of steam to loosen fibers, quickly remove wrinkles, and create professional pleats. A base unit heats the iron, not batteries, providing a convenient place to set the iron and reheat it while you adjust clothes. It can produce steam while upright, allowing you to steam press garments while they hang, and the non-stick stainless steel soleplate glides smoothly over fabric. A microprocessor automatically maintains the selected ironing temperature to protect fabrics, a removable, 5 1/8 oz. water reservoir refills easily under a faucet, and the iron automatically turns off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
