With a press of a button, the GPS announces the remaining distance to the front, back, or center of the green in a clear female voice—accurate to within nine feet—as the data is simultaneously displayed on its monochrome LCD screen. It can also measure the length of drives. Small enough to clip unobtrusively to a visor, belt, or golf bag, the device can speak in one of eight languages.
