The two separate seats can be individually adjusted from an upright seat or a completely supine position. Each seat has a lower lumbar support, a neck-cradling pillow, and an adjustable foot rest to ensure comfort. The seats move silently using 2" precision-sealed ball bearings for a lifetime of maintenance-free, smooth swinging that can maintain its pendulum motion without intervention for up to 20 minutes at a time. The adjustable canopy provides over 40' sq. shelter from the sun, filtering out over 90% of harmful UV rays. The sturdy frame has a weight capacity of 2000 lbs. and is constructed of 2 1/2" 11-gauge tubular steel that has been powder-coated for rust- and corrosion-resistance, while the 1/2" frame bolts are treated with anti-rust sealant. The seats are crafted from plantation-grown teak, renowned for its strength and the wood of choice for shipbuilders in the Age of Sail, and if left untreated, will weather to a soft gray. Treatment with teak or linseed oil will maintain the unweathered appearance.
