Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the aviator watch named in honor of America’s most successful U.S. Air Service fighter pilot, Eddie Rickenbacker. The World War I ace of aces had 26 confirmed victories and was honored with a U.S. medal of honor in 1931. The analog wristwatch recalls the classic style worn by aviators of yesteryear while providing modern convenience. It has large numerals and interval marks with luminous hands that keep accurate time with Japanese quartz movement. A pair of subdials provide the day of the week and monthly date. The 316L stainless steel case has a polished finish and the face is protected by a scratch-resistant mineral crystal. Its olive-green leather band fits wrists up to 8 1/2". Splash resistant. Imported. Case 1 3/4" W x 2" L x 1/2" D.
