The canopy is made from 100% woven acrylic that blocks 98% of the sun's harmful UV rays for a UPF of 50+--the highest possible rating. The 11' octagonal canopy provides up to 78' sq. of shade over a pool, table, or patio. The umbrella's pole and ribs are made from weatherproof powder-coated aluminum and the canopy is ring-spun from two-ply yarns (the same method used for fine apparel) and solution-dyed so that its color will never fade.
