The Electric Travel Guitar

This is the electric guitar that fits into an overhead luggage compartment yet provides the same authentic feel and sound as its full-sized counterpart. At only 28 1/2" long, its 21 frets make it a full-scale length 24 3/4" guitar, enabling accurate chord and finger placement without adjusting one's playing style. In concert with a single "humbucker" pickup, its built-in pre-amp produces either clean or overdriven sound using the selector switch, volume and tone knobs. It has a 1/8" headphone jack and 1/8" aux-in port for connecting an MP3 player, allowing one to play along with a song for silent practice; with a 1/4" output jack for plugging into an amplifier or external recording device. Its single cutaway, gold-painted mahogany body has two pins for attaching a strap. The six recessed, tuning pegs keep the included six D'Addario round-wound, nickel-plated steel strings at the proper pitch. An adjustable truss rod, nut, and bridge allow the strings to be lowered closer to the ebonized rosewood fingerboard for easier playing. Includes soft carrying case.
