The Fly Assist RC Classic Super Cub

This is the remote controlled Piper PA-18 Super Cub with a flying-assist mode that prevents crashes. If a pilot loses control of the aircraft a “panic” button on the remote control instantly returns the plane to stable flight, a patented feature that earned the Model Airplane News’ Innovation of the Year award. The plane is ideal for beginner or intermediate pilots thanks to built-in multi-axis sensors and software that maintain optimal thresholds for bank and pitch, while experienced pilots can operate the plane without these aviation aides. The plane has the same monoplane design, propeller, and dual wheel base as the original Super Cubs used in the 1950s to deliver supplies to remote regions. The plane flies up to 200' high and 25 mph, the 2.4GHz four-channel transmitter ensures interference-free control, it’s rechargeable battery provides up to 12 minutes of power after a one-hour charge, and the body is made from durable, impact resistant foam.
