The Geese-In-Flight Weathervane

Weathervanes have been used to predict weather patterns since the first century B.C., when ancient Greeks affixed an enormous bronze replica of the sea god Triton atop the Athenian Tower of Winds. In the same spirit as its distinctive Greek ancestor, our copper and brass geese in flight are a welcome departure from the common rooster design used in most contemporary weathervanes. Not only does this weathervane look stunning on any rooftop, it can double as a garden decoration when used with its stand (sold separately). The three geese and spacer balls are welded, polished copper that will achieve a verdigris patina over time. The brass directionals are secured on a rod of stainless steel and brass.
