This is the carpet bag crafted from antique hand-woven Kilim rugs that are 50 to 100 years old. Coveted by collectors for their geometric patterns and durability, the 100% wool Kilims used in the bag’s construction come from the mountain villages of Turkey where they are still hand woven by nomadic tribesman. Each bag is unique because no two Kilims have the same design—each one features distinctive symbols, patterns, and colors. The handles and trimming are authentic calfskin leather from Turkish tanneries, and the hobnail bottom keeps the bag upright.
