Product Story
This is the throw made with 100% genuine New Zealand mohair pile, harvested from the angora goat and considered to be the finest source of angora mohair in the world. The throw is entirely hand-woven, and is hand-brushed four times with a unique brushing process invented by the master weaver, who rolls the prickly seed pods of the dried teasel plant over the mohair which teases the pile gently, producing a silky softness far superior than mechanical wire brushes. The result is the same quality fineness that has been prized the world over since the Victorian era. Despite its light weight, the throw is extremely warm, because of the fine weave of the angora hair. Imported. Light Blue, Pink or Ivory. Generously sized 51" x 72".
