This palm-sized GPS instantly determines the distance to the green, water hazards, and bunkers, and calculates how far you've hit each shot from anywhere on 15,000 courses worldwide. The golf GPS renders the details of each hole on a 2 1/4" high-resolution color LCD and determines how far you are from obstacles and reference points (accurate to within three to seven yards), including bunkers, water hazards, trees, hills, and out-of-bounds markers. The device calculates the distances to the front and back of each green, bunker, and water hazard, helping you determine club- and shot-selections. It allows you to input scores and automatically calculates vital statistics like percentage of fairways hit, greens-in-regulation, and putts-per-hole, and tracks where you hit each shot with waypoints. You can download five golf courses from the manufacturer's Website at no charge (additional courses available for $5.00 each), and the GPS allows you to manually add or delete references points to reflect changes in course layouts.
