The unit has 10 programmable search ranges to assist in picking up unlisted frequencies near you, and it has six presets for the most active channels. It has an easy-to-read backlit display for low-light conditions that automatically illuminates to indicate channel activity. Triple conversion circuitry eliminates interference from other frequencies, and the device has built-in delay to ensure you won't miss communications between two parties.
