The Handheld Stadium Light

This is the rechargeable lantern that uses the same high-intensity discharge (HID) Xenon lamp found in stadium lights and on aircraft landing strips to illuminate objects up to a mile away. HID technology produces 3,200 lumens--7X more light than a regular incandescent bulb--yet creates one third less heat than a halogen flashlight, resulting in a 2,000-hour lamp lifetime. The fully-articulating, deep parabolic reflector produces a narrow, focused beam, and the outer rim of the lamp has 10 separately switchable LEDs for general lighting purposes. The rechargeable lead-acid battery provides up to 80 minutes of light from a 20-hour charge (same for LEDs). It plugs into AC or DC to recharge using the included adapters. The flashlight is encased in a high-impact polypropylene housing that protects the bulb chamber from shock, and it has a built-in stand. Includes nylon carrying belt. 17 3/4" L x 11" W x 11" H.
