These are the classic Southern biscuits made from scratch in Charleston, without the use of any mixers or other kitchen machinery. Using a family recipe, each batch of biscuits is individually handcrafted by a small team of bakers. Locally sourced ingredients, including butter and cream cheese from a neighboring dairy, ensure the light, fluffy texture and rich flavor so prized in the Lowcountry tradition. Featured on the Today Show and in the New York Times, Southern Living, and Food & Wine, the biscuits come in three flavors: original buttermilk, cheese and chive, and cinnamon. Each batch of two-dozen biscuits arrives in the bakery’s signature craft bags, fully baked and frozen, with thawing and heat instructions included.
