These are the traditional jutti flats handmade in India’s Punjab state. Inspired by the lavish footwear worn by maharani royal weddings for at least 400 years, their traditional design includes embellishments that make them appropriate for formal occasions: the iconic “M” shape over the opening, intricate beadwork, and gold and silver embroidery. Constructed from leather that is crafted in a five-step process to yield supple hides that mold to the foot. As with all jutti, the left and right shoes are identical (though embroidery may vary). Red or Blue. Women’s sizes 6-10.
