Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the portable pathway made from acacia that provides dry passage through landscaping. At only 71/2 lbs., it uses acacia slats that create a 17 3/4" wide walking surface 1/2" from the ground. Spaced 1/2" apart for drainage and for conforming to the ground’s contours, the slats provide a solid surface that keeps wheelbarrows and carts from carving ruts in soil as well as from compacting soil from foot traffic. Acacia wood is naturally water-resistant and will develop a unique silvery gray patina (may be oiled to retain its original appearance). Five curved sections encircle an area; they also work in concert with straight sections.
