This is the outdoor projector that shines thousands of twinkling, gently moving pinpoints of light to instantly bring life to trees, shrubs, or any area. Used by professional landscape architects to create dazzling lighting displays at major theme parks, the projector utilizes a Diode Pumped Solid State laser (DPSS)--not a light bulb--that generates pure green light. When paired with its diffractive holographic optical element, the projector emits a three dimensional nebula of glistening lights that stay in focus from any distance. To give the lights the illusion of gentle motion, a Super Luminous Diode (SLD) is synchronized to a precision electromechanical motor and light filter. The projector illuminates a 25' sq. area from about 10 feet away and can be angled 180° and swiveled 360°; an integrated 8 1/2" long stake holds the unit firmly in place. The projector's laser is rated for 7000 hours of operation and its entire assembly is encased in a weather-resistant antique brass housing, ensuring years of reliable operation in temperatures from 40° F-86° F.
