The Kitchen Play Set

Safer and more suitably scaled than the real thing, this dual-sided kitchen set includes two child-sized play areas in one space-saving design. One section has a pretend microwave oven with see-through window, stove, and range-top burners, all with movable knobs, magnet-clasp doors, and wooden shelving. The reverse includes a sink, miniature fridge, and an under-counter washing machine inspired by modern European homes where the laundry is part of the kitchen. The sides feature a telephone, clock, and working paper towel rack. Brightly decorated in light pastels with lead-free paint, the set encourages cooperative, imaginative play and is an ideal environment for early lessons in household chores as children play alongside their parents.
