Product Story

Meticulously handcrafted in the town of Markneukirchen, renowned for over 350 years as the center of Germanys musical instrument production region, this is the most comprehensive set of auxiliary percussion instruments available, allowing children to gain experience with a wide range of instruments as they learn rhythm, timbre, and pitch. Manufactured by Goldon, crafters of precision musical instruments used in classrooms worldwide since 1936, the instruments are made from beech and maple harvested in Germany. Acquainting young percussionists with different striking methods and providing exposure to fundamental techniques, the set includes a rawhide-covered tambourine, triangle w ith striker, pair of plastic maracas, pair of steel finger cymbals, single- and double-guiro with scraper, soprano glockenspiel, woodblocks, jinglestraps, claves, castanets, brass suspended cymbal with stand, and more. All instruments are stored in a three-drawer cabinet made of beech with a hinged lid and bottom tray. It rolls on four locking casters, and all pieces are sanded smooth, precision assembled, and painted in a non-chip varnish. Ages 3 and up. The manufacturer has confirmed that this item meets U.S. Federal toy safety standards for lead. 21 3/4" W x 26 1/4" H x 10 3/4" D. (36 1/4 lbs.)
