This is the 1:4 scale electric ride-on inspired by the Mercedes-Benz GLA sport utility vehicle that conveys a child in “air conditioned” panache up to 1/2 mph. Its swept air intakes, single side mirrors, and the classic logo on the front grill replicate the hallmark features of the luxury SUV, while a fan built into the interior’s dashboard cools children while cruising the neighborhood on hot days. The car is operated by a child driver (weighing up to 55 lbs.) who presses and releases a foot pedal to accelerate and brake, or by an adult using the included radio-frequency remote control. With working headlights, plastic wheels with gleaming chrome-colored rims, and a steering wheel that honks the horn, plays music clips, and an auxiliary input for an MP3 player. Its rechargeable 12-volt battery provides up to two hours of operation from a three-hour charge using the included AC adapter.
