The Motorized Xylophone Train

This motorized train plays musical notes when it passes over color coded plastic tiles laid on its track like a xylophone. Each of the 44 tiles fits in-between the rails of the plastic track, and each has a sequence of raised nodes that correspond to one note; when the train passes over, it plays a note in the key of C for a full scale. The train moves automatically when switched on, and songs repeat as the train makes a circuit of the track. Children can make up their own songs or play one of seven songs from the included song book; tiles are color-coded to correspond to the song book, so young children who cannot read yet can still make songs easily. Ten pieces of plastic track are included, in addition to a coal car and an engineer figure. Requires four AAA batteries. Ages 3 and up. Track 24" L x 18" W. (3 lbs.)
