The Nanotechnology Sanitizer

Used in health clinics and athletic clubs, this device uses safe nano-silver technology to eliminate up to 650 kinds of bacteria, fungus, and odors from shoes and other hard to clean items. The sanitizer harnesses the natural antibacterial properties of silver nano-particles--each one a millionth of an inch long--to penetrate bacterial membranes, destroy their DNA, and kill the microorganisms. Tests conducted by an independent laboratory showed the device killed up to 99.9% of E. coli and 98% of Trichophyton rubrum--the fungus responsible for athlete's foot. Unlike chemical cleaning agents, the nano-silver leaves no residue and it reaches into shoe crevices and other hidden areas that sustain germ vitality. The 10 1/4" x 13" interior accommodates children's toys or handbags, the sanitizing cycle lasts only eight minutes, and it shuts off automatically after each cycle.
