This is the New York City version of the classic 1935 game that replaces the standard properties with the city's most famous landmarks--from Wall Street to Fifth Avenue. Each property has printed on it a four-color picture of one of New York City's buildings; properties surround a photograph of the city's skyline in the center of the board. The game includes new pewter game pieces, including a taxi cab, Statue of Liberty, "I Love New York" heart, horse-drawn carriage, The New York Times banner, and a "big apple." Chance cards are replaced by The New York Times cards and New York Magazine cards supplant Community Chest cards; iconic New York brownstones replace houses and luxurious studios replace hotels. For 2 to 6 players. Ages 8 and up. 20" L x 10" W x 1 1/4" H. (2 1/2 lbs.)
